An Táin Theatre
No theatre lovers trip to Dundalk would be complete without an evening spent at An Táin Theatre.
The theatre was built in 1859 for the Corn Exchange Company but cost enough money to place the company into liquidation. The Town Commissioners bought the theatre from the Corn Exchange Company but it was later destroyed by a fire.
The newly renovated Táin Theatre is host to all forms of entertainment from Comedians, Ballet, Opera, and amateur Theatre Groups and always has a great line up and calendar of events throghout the year.
